Our Commitment

QolSync AI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards. Our core mission — making real-time translation accessible and inclusive — extends to the app itself.

Standards

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Our platform features include:

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy (one H1 per page)
  • ARIA attributes for all interactive components (menus, accordions, dialogs)
  • Full keyboard navigation throughout the application
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA requirements (4.5:1 body, 3:1 large text)
  • Screen reader-compatible captions and translation overlays
  • Responsive design for all screen sizes (375px–1440px+)
  • Focus-visible indicators on all interactive elements
  • Reduced-motion support via prefers-reduced-motion
  • Skip-to-content link for keyboard users
  • Touch targets minimum 44×44px (WCAG 2.5.5)

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following known limitations and are actively working to address them:

  • Live, continuously-updating translation text can be challenging for some screen readers to announce; we are improving this
  • Camera-based Capture & Translate (OCR) currently has limited screen-reader support

Testing

We test with the following assistive technologies: VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA (Windows), TalkBack (Android), and the Axe browser extension for automated audits.
